An observational documentary observing the daily lives of various people in Nepal, in particular looking at various important Hindu festivals.
Herdai literally translates from Nepali as 'observing' or 'watching'.
The first scene is the yearly Kumari festival, which is celebrated by the Newar people of Kathmandu Valley.

The second scene was shot during a trek to Annapurna base camp.
The third scene was shot in the Palpa district during the Dashain festival.
